Crazy you said?

In the subway earlier on today, there I was - pumped up on good sunny emotions, smiling to myself - standing peacefully next to many grey looking people... One of them, more grey than the others was standing to my right. A man. Oddly resembling the well deceased president Lincoln (I'd say about 50cm shorter in height than the original version).

Suddenly, pointing with his finger to a young woman in a beret (his mother probably forgot to teach him good manners!), with a very theatrical voice he sharply yells (very unlike Lincoln from what I understand): "Watch out, she is a thief, she will pick your pockets!!!" Everybody looks at him, while the young lady in question ignores him completely. "Do you understand French?" he says in French and nobody says a word in return. Everybody just looks at him awkwardly, thinking (it is written all over their faces and I admit kinda thinking the same) that he is a fool, a madman. Another amongst many others in the Parisian subway trains and hallways. Sadly.

Two stops later, the young woman gets out of the train and skillfully steals a wallet from the stereotypically fat American tourist, who obviously stands there outraged, with his mouth wide open but speechless at the same time. Everybody stirs uncomfortably but nothing happens.

The fake Lincoln gets out at the following stop. Before he does, he turns back, looks at everybody and says: "Who's the looney now???"

There! In your face! Gangsta style.
